Motor vehicle proprietors in Britain will be granted a six-month exemption from MOT screening, the Office for Transportation (DfT) has introduced.

All cars, vans and bikes will be exempted from needing a test from March 30.
This will enable persons to carry on with necessary travel through the coronavirus pandemic, the DfT reported.
Drivers had been warned that autos must be retained in a roadworthy condition.
